We need you! It has been an eventful year since we first hit ‘live’ on our first website -  13 months and 3 web versions ago. We had no idea, of course, what was just around the corner for the world, and we think we have navigated the pandemic as well as any new start up. Making an Effort

The ‘making an effort’ process for men has come a long way in the past couple of decades as more involved grooming has become prevalent and retailers have responded to this. Although we seem, sadly, to have taken a culturally-conservative backwards step in some respects, (how is it so radical to see Harry Styles in a dress on the cover of Vogue, when Rod Stewart, David Bowie, Prince, Marc Bolan and Elton John were dressed so fantastically decades ago?) men are definitely upping their grooming game from the days of the quarterly short back and sides and perhaps, ‘Something for the weekend, Sir?’

The Confidence Paradox

We wanted to ask Ray at what point he acknowledged a desire to wear something that as a man, he wasn’t ‘supposed’ to wear, and how did he feel in himself?, firstly acknowledging it and later, acting upon it. We wanted to hear about his internal feelings, not how other people reacted, but what the impact was like for him. And why despite people calling it cross-dressing, we don't think it's cross-dressing at all! It's simply dressing. Damn fine dressing.

Mental Health and The Power of Small Things

It is really important to stop and think about this. What are you able to offer yourself? Could you have a walk at lunchtime? - it really does work, it sounds way too simple to be an effective lift, but it is. Could you arrange to meet your little nephews on that hill near to them and try and get the kite to fly? Or surprise your partner / friend / neighbour by having a go at making a cake? It is quite remarkable how seemingly small gestures have a far greater effect on how you feel about yourself.
